Visiting Scholar at IPEA (Instituto de Pesquisa Econômica Aplicada) for a 3 months period. In this period she conducted semi-structured interviews with multinationals and NGO´s. In addition, she presented at the IPCEL conference and wrote various chapters of her thesis.

May/June 2015 – Russia, Mongolia & China

Attended the BRICS Academic Forum in Moscow

BRICS

Subsequently, Carolijn has conducted various interviews with BRICS experts in both Russia and China. The Institutions that she was welcome included the Russian International Affairs Council, Higher School of Economics, Oxfam, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies.

Carolijn presented her Research Proposal at a Master’s class at the Higher School of Economics in Moscow.
